Jerry William Beaver, Managing Member
Mr. Beaver was founder of Pacifica’s commercial real estate business in 1969. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board. He majored in architecture at Arizona State University and the University of Colorado, and entered the real estate business with the American Appraisal Company in 1958. Since 1960, he has been actively involved in the commercial real estate business in Santa Barbara and has been the developer of a number of properties in the south coast area of Santa Barbara County.
Russell Fraser, Managing Member
Mr. Fraser has been a principal with Pacifica Real Estate Group for over 25 years. As one of the managing principals, Mr. Fraser, along with Mr. Gibbs, is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company and the real properties it acquires and manages. Mr. Fraser’s responsibilities include arranging and structuring the debt and equity capital for all company acquisitions.
Previously, he served as the primary business consultant for a private, high net-worth holding company that acquired multi-family residential, commercial real estate, and ownership interests in operating businesses. Prior to pursuing his real estate career in 1987, Mr. Fraser was associated with Laventhol and Horwath, an international accounting and consulting firm.
Robert C. Gibbs, Managing Member
Mr. Gibbs has over 35 years of experience in all phases of commercial real estate, and has served in various executive capacities throughout his career. He and Mr. Fraser work closely together on all major portfolio and company matters. Mr. Gibbs is responsible for the sourcing of all real estate acquisitions for the company. He arranges and manages all acquisitions and dispositions and major leasing of all properties.
Mr. Gibbs has established close relationships with the leading investment brokers in Pacifica’s target markets, which enables him to find and close on desirable investment opportunities. Prior to joining the company in 1998, he was president of South Coast Realty and Development, Inc., and before that was Senior Marketing Consultant/Vice President for Grubb and Ellis.
Arlene M. Kostock,
Chief Financial Officer and
Executive Vice President
Ms. Kostock has been associated with the company since 1974. During her tenure, she has served in various executive roles. Ms. Kostock is responsible for financial reporting, income tax compliance, investor relations, and risk management. Ms. Kostock earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University and is a licensed real estate broker.
